Play Texas Hold’Em Poker for real money
It’s the game that put poker on the map again in the 21st century. Texas Hold’em has reached a popularity of stratospheric proportions amongst casino-goers; you’ll be hard pressed to find a poker room on Earth that does not have several tables accepting bets on this variant of poker. Texas Hold’em is equally well-loved by online players worldwide, and there’s no doubt that you’ll rank it as your #1 card game once you find out how easy it is to play and win real money.
How to play Texas Hold’em
Texas Hold’em is played with a standard 52-card deck and uses the traditional ranking of poker hands to determine the winner of the round. The twist is in the fact that it uses a mix of hole cards (cards that belong to you alone) and community cards (cards that can are used by all the players at the table) to create a five-card hand. The game kicks off with a preliminary round of betting, called posting the blinds. The first player sitting on the left of the dealer wagers half the minimum bet limit (the small blind) and the player sitting to his left wagers the full amount (the big blind).
The dealer then deals each player two cards face down, which they’ll keep for the rest of the game. At this point, you can either fold and quit the game if you think your cards aren’t that good, call, or raise the bet limit. After the first betting round ends, the dealer lays down three cards face up on the table (the flop) and the players have a second chance to fold, call, or raise their bets. The same thing happens again, but this time one card is dealt face up (the turn) and after a third round of betting the dealer draws one final community card (the river) and the players have their last chance to quit or stay in the game. After the fourth round of betting ends, the players remaining at the table reveal their cards and the one with highest-value hand wins the pot.
